What are Penman Collection's installation requirements?
Penman Collection appliances have to meet current Building Regulations, and the requirements differ by fuel. A Gas Safe registered engineer must fit any gas fire. Solid fuel and wood-burning appliances need either a HETAS-registered installer or notification to Building Control. Both routes exist to protect you, and buying through a selected retailer keeps you inside them.
We arrange qualified installation as part of the process and specify the flue system alongside the appliance so the two match from the outset rather than being reconciled on the day.
Warranty conditions vary by collection, but most depend on correct installation, an annual service or chimney sweep by a competent person, and burning only approved fuels. We will talk you through the terms that apply to your Penman Collection fireplace or stove before you buy.
