Chesneys fireplaces, decades of luxury craftsmanship
Chesneys is a family-run fireplaces business and an internationally recognised name in the luxury heating sector. For nearly 40 years, they’ve built their reputation on outstanding craftsmanship, intelligent engineering and innovative design – qualities that show in every stove, gas fire, and surround it produces.
Why choose Chesneys fireplaces & stoves?
Chesneys builds fireplaces for those who notice the details. Individually hand-painted fuel beds, UK manufacturing on the flagship range, and four decades of refinement behind the designs.
Nearly 40 years’ expertise
Four decades of family-run manufacturing means designs are refined generation on generation, and a company that will still be around when you need a spare part.
Hand-painted fuel beds
Every log in the DFE and Alchemy ranges is painted individually, so the fuel bed reads as real wood rather than moulded resin.
Made in Britain
The Alchemy GF range is built in the UK, which means shorter lead times and replacement parts you can actually get hold of.
Ecodesign compliant
Meets current clean-air standards, so the stove stays legal to run as emissions rules tighten.

Chesneys FAQs
Chesney’s open-fronted models give an unobstructed view of the flame for a more traditional look, while its glass-fronted versions have a sealed, typically more efficient burn behind a clear glass screen. The right choice depends on the room’s heating needs and your desired aesthetic.
