We design, supply and install bespoke media wall fireplaces throughout Wilmslow, from the Victorian villas around Fulshaw Park out to the family homes towards Dean Row and Handforth.
Every project starts with a home survey. We measure the room, check wall construction and power routes, and specify the fire and the build around what’s actually there.
What you’re quoted for is designed for your room, not adapted from a standard specification.
If you’re still deciding what a media wall involves, which fire suits one and how heat and TV clearance are handled, our media wall fireplaces page covers all of it.
Wall depth, sightlines and proportions are set by survey, not by a standard specification.
More than thirty years of installations across the North West, with a qualified team on every job.
Manufacturer warranties, our own service guarantee and a team you can still reach afterwards.
Designing a media wall fireplace for a Wilmslow home often means designing for an extended kitchen-diner, where you see the wall from across the room rather than just from the sofa.
We measure from the furthest viewing point – usually the island or the far end of the table – so the fire still holds the room from a distance.
Afternoon sun in a bright extension can wash out a flame effect, so matt and textured finishes tend to work better than gloss or dark cladding.
If the wall sits between the extension and the original room, a double-sided fire can turn it into a divider – a decision to make before the stud work goes up.
We survey before specifying your media wall fireplace, so your quote reflects the room, not guesswork.

As part of a full renovation of a high-end Cheshire home, we worked with Fiona Watkins Design to install two Chesneys feature fireplaces and two large, high-efficiency Kalfire gas fires, each chosen to suit the scale and style of its space.
Our role went beyond fitting. We advised on opening sizes, gas supply, and flue requirements from the outset and worked alongside other trades on site so every fireplace sits seamlessly within the overall design.

Our Preston showroom has more than 70 working displays, including media wall installations, so you can compare flame effects, widths and finishes side by side.
You’ll find us on Garstang Road in Fulwood, about an hour’s drive from Wilmslow on the M56 and M6.
No appointment needed, but booking ahead means someone’s free to show you round.
Once you’ve chosen, we’ll visit for a 45-minute home survey covering the room, wall, and power supply, then send a written, no-obligation quote.
Call us on 01772 716375 if you have any questions.

Conservation area rules in Wilmslow don’t usually affect a media wall fireplace, because conservation area controls cover a property’s external appearance and a media wall is internal work. Listed buildings are the exception, as listing protects the interior too. If your property is listed, listed building consent may be needed from Cheshire East Council.
