We’ve designed, supplied and installed bespoke media wall fireplaces in Knutsford for 35 years, from the Georgian townhouses around King Street to the newer developments towards Tabley and Mobberley.
Every project starts with a home survey. We measure the room, check the wall construction and power routes, then design the fire and build around what’s there – not a standard specification.
Still deciding? Our media wall fireplaces page covers what’s involved, which fires suit one, and how heat and TV clearance work.
Wall depth, sightlines and proportions are set by survey, not by a standard specification.
More than thirty years of installations across the North West, with a qualified team on every job.
Manufacturer warranties, our own service guarantee and a team you can still reach afterwards.
Designing a media wall fireplace for a Knutsford home starts with the property, because period and newer homes need different approaches.
For period townhouses, we set the height to sit comfortably with the existing skirting, cornice and picture rail lines.
For newer home, with nothing to work around, we set the proportions from scratch against the room size and where you sit.
Either way, we check the wall construction – masonry and stud partitions carry a large screen differently – and whether you need an extra circuit for the fire and AV.
We survey before specifying your media wall fireplace, so none of this is guesswork by the time you have a quote.

We cover Knutsford and the surrounding areas, including:
If your property sits outside these areas, we can confirm coverage when you get in touch.
We also install media wall fireplaces across Cheshire.

As part of a full renovation of a high-end Cheshire home, we worked with Fiona Watkins Design to install two Chesneys feature fireplaces and two large, high-efficiency Kalfire gas fires, each chosen to suit the scale and style of its space.
Our role went beyond fitting. We advised on opening sizes, gas supply, and flue requirements from the outset and worked alongside other trades on site so every fireplace sits seamlessly within the overall design.

Our Preston showroom has more than 70 working displays, including media wall installations, so you can compare flame effects, widths and finishes side by side.
You’ll find us on Garstang Road in Fulwood, about 50 minutes from Knutsford straight up the M6.
No appointment needed, but booking ahead means someone’s free to show you round.
Once you’ve chosen, we’ll visit for a 45-minute home survey covering the room, the wall and the power supply, then send a written quote with no obligation.
Call us on 01772 716375 if you have any questions.

Listed building consent can be needed for a media wall fireplace on King Street if the property is listed, because listing protects the interior as well as the exterior. King Street sits within Knutsford’s town centre conservation area, but conservation area controls cover external appearance only. Listed building consent applications go to Cheshire East Council.
