Didsbury's media wall fireplace specialists for 35 years
We design, supply and install media wall fireplaces for homes across Didsbury, West Didsbury and the surrounding areas of south Manchester, backed by 35 years of fitting fires.
We don’t specify anything until we’ve seen the room. A home survey tells us how the wall is built, where power can run and what size of fire the space can take, so the design starts from your home rather than a stock layout.
New to media walls? Our media wall fireplaces page explains how they’re built, which fires work in them, and how heat is kept clear of the TV.
Why choose our media wall installation service in Didsbury?
Homeowners across Didsbury choose us for our experience, for builds designed around their room, and for support that carries on after installation.
A design built for your space
Survey measurements set the depth, width and proportions of every build, so nothing is scaled from a template.
Three decades of expertise
We’ve been fitting fires across the North West since 1991, and our own qualified team carries out every installation.
Aftercare you can rely on
Every installation comes with manufacturer warranties, our own service guarantee and a team that stays contactable after handover.
Designing a media wall fireplace for a Didsbury home
Designing a media wall fireplace for a Didsbury home usually means working with period architecture, as much of Didsbury and West Didsbury dates from the Victorian and Edwardian eras.
Many of these houses keep their original chimney breast and alcoves. We survey the breast’s depth and condition, then decide whether the build encloses it fully or uses the alcoves either side for shelving and AV storage.
High ceilings, cornicing and picture rails set the proportions. At survey we decide whether the build stops beneath the cornice or below the picture rail, so the original features stay on show.
Internal walls in older houses can be lath and plaster rather than solid brick, which changes how a large TV is fixed. We confirm what’s behind the surface before specifying the frame and fixings.
Large period houses split into flats are common around West Didsbury, and most need freeholder or management company consent before internal work begins.
We survey before specifying your media wall fireplace, so none of this is guesswork by the time you have a quote.

Didsbury
case study
This large Manchester home was being fully refurbished, and each space needed a fire suited to how it would be used, from open-plan living areas to a quiet study and a basement conversion.
We installed two Kalfire gas fires in the main living areas, a Gazco gas fire in the study and a Kalfire room divider fire as the centrepiece of the new basement bar and gym. A wood-burning stove in the garden office keeps it usable all year round.
See how we brought it together across the whole property.
