Cheshire’s media wall fireplace specialists for 35 years
We design, supply, and install bespoke media wall fireplaces throughout Cheshire, from the villages around Alderley Edge and Prestbury out to Knutsford, Tarporley and the wider county.
Every project starts with a home survey. We measure the room, check wall construction and power routes, and specify the fire and the build around what’s actually there.
What you’re quoted for is designed for your room, not adapted from a standard specification.
If you’re still deciding what a media wall involves, which fire suits one and how heat and TV clearance are handled, our media wall fireplaces page covers all of it.

Designing a media wall fireplace for a Cheshire home
Cheshire’s housing stock is unusually varied for one county, and each property type brings its own considerations for a media wall:
- Georgian and Victorian townhouses: cornicing, picture rails and deep skirting need planning around.
- Interwar and post-war semis: there’s room for a full-width build, but the join with a bay window needs care.
- Newer executive homes: existing stud partitions simplify the build, though a fire and full AV setup usually needs an extra circuit.
- Barn conversions and rural properties: high ceilings, exposed beams and stone call for a finish that complements those materials rather than competing with them.
We survey before specifying your media wall fireplace, so none of this is guesswork by the time you have a quote.

Cheshire
case study
As part of a full renovation of a high-end Cheshire home, we worked with Fiona Watkins Design to install two Chesneys feature fireplaces and two large, high-efficiency Kalfire gas fires, each chosen to suit the scale and style of its space.
Our role went beyond fitting. We advised on opening sizes, gas supply, and flue requirements from the outset and worked alongside other trades on site so every fireplace sits seamlessly within the overall design.
