Alderley Edge’s media wall fireplace specialists for 35 years
We design, supply and install bespoke media wall fireplaces throughout Alderley Edge, from the village centre out to the lanes around Nether Alderley and Mottram St Andrew.
Every project starts with a home survey.
We measure the room, check wall construction and power routes, and specify the fire and the build around what’s actually there.
What you’re quoted for is designed for your room, not adapted from a standard specification.
If you’re still deciding what a media wall involves, which fire suits one and how heat and TV clearance are handled, our media wall fireplaces page covers all of it.

Designing a media wall fireplace for an Alderley Edge home
An Alderley Edge media wall is usually designed around height, as rooms here tend to be taller than standard:
- Ceiling height: Where ceilings reach three metres or more, a standard-height build leaves a blank band above it that draws the eye.
- Fire/screen position: A taller wall sets the fire lower and moves the screen, so we fix both at survey against where you sit.
- Finish: Book-matched stone needs planning first, as the aperture must fall where the veining allows.
We survey before specifying your media wall fireplace, so none of this is guesswork by the time you have a quote.

case study
As part of a full renovation of a high-end Cheshire home, we worked with Fiona Watkins Design to install two Chesneys feature fireplaces and two large, high-efficiency Kalfire gas fires, each chosen to suit the scale and style of its space.
Our role went beyond fitting. We advised on opening sizes, gas supply, and flue requirements from the outset and worked alongside other trades on site so every fireplace sits seamlessly within the overall design.

Media wall fireplaces Alderley Edge FAQs
Yes, a media wall can be installed while a builder is already on site, including as part of a larger renovation or extension. We handle the fire and media wall element and coordinate with the builder, so nothing is built before the fire specification is confirmed. This avoids reworking finished walls later.
