We design, supply and install bespoke media wall fireplaces throughout Hale and Hale Barns, from the Victorian and Edwardian villas around Ashley Road out to the newer executive homes towards Hale Barns and Ringway.
Every project starts with a home survey. We measure the room, check wall construction and power routes, and specify the fire and the build around what’s actually there. What you’re quoted for is designed for your room, not adapted from a standard specification.
If you’re still deciding what a media wall involves, which fire suits one and how heat and TV clearance are handled, our media wall fireplaces page covers all of it.
Wall depth, sightlines and proportions are set by survey, not by a standard specification.
More than thirty years of installations across the North West, with a qualified team on every job.
Manufacturer warranties, our own service guarantee and a team you can still reach afterwards.
Most Hale media wall fireplaces go into one of two kinds of room, and each needs a different approach.
In a Victorian or Edwardian villa, we survey the cornice line, ceiling height and any deep bay window, then set the height and position of the media wall to suit.
In a newer home there’s nothing to work around, so we set the proportions against the room size and where you sit.
Either way, we check the wall construction, as solid masonry and stud partitions take a large screen’s weight differently. Newer properties often need an extra circuit for the fire and AV equipment too.
We survey before specifying your media wall fireplace, so none of this is guesswork by the time you have a quote.

As part of a full renovation of a high-end Cheshire home, we worked with Fiona Watkins Design to install two Chesneys feature fireplaces and two large, high-efficiency Kalfire gas fires, each chosen to suit the scale and style of its space.
Our role went beyond fitting. We advised on opening sizes, gas supply, and flue requirements from the outset and worked alongside other trades on site so every fireplace sits seamlessly within the overall design.

Our Preston showroom has more than 70 working displays, including media wall installations, so you can compare flame effects, widths and finishes side by side.
You’ll find us on Garstang Road in Fulwood, about 50 minutes from Hale on the M56 and M6.
No appointment needed, but booking ahead means someone’s free to show you round.
Once you’ve chosen, we’ll visit for a 45-minute home survey covering the room, the wall and the power supply, then send a written quote with no obligation.

Yes, a media wall fireplace can be fitted in a Victorian villa, including the high-ceilinged properties along Ashley Road in Hale. The main design decision is height: the build either runs tight to the original cornice line or stops short of it to leave the cornicing visible. Both options are assessed before a design is recommended.
