We supply and install bespoke media wall fireplaces throughout Prestbury, from the cottages and townhouses in the village centre out to the larger properties along Macclesfield Road.
Every project starts with a home survey. We measure the room, check wall construction and power routes, and specify the fire and the build around what’s actually there.
What you’re quoted for is designed for your room, not adapted from a standard specification.
Still deciding? Our media wall fireplaces page covers what’s involved, which fires suit one, and how heat and TV clearance work.
Wall depth, sightlines and proportions are set by survey, not by a standard specification.
More than thirty years of installations across the North West, with a qualified team on every job.
Manufacturer warranties, our own service guarantee and a team you can still reach afterwards.
Designing a media wall fireplace for a Prestbury home often means working around a period room’s existing features.
Layout: Beams, chimney breasts, low ceilings, and irregular walls all affect where the media wall can sit and how deep it can be.
Finish: Painted timber, muted render, and softer stone effects suit a period room better than gloss or dark cladding, and we’ll match options to your existing paintwork and materials.
Structure: We check whether the wall is solid masonry or stud, as each carries a large screen differently, and whether you need an extra circuit for the fire and AV.
Everything above is confirmed at the survey before we specify your media wall fireplace or send a quote.
We survey before specifying your media wall fireplace, so none of this is guesswork by the time you have a quote.

As part of a full renovation of a high-end Cheshire home, we worked with Fiona Watkins Design to install two Chesneys feature fireplaces and two large, high-efficiency Kalfire gas fires, each chosen to suit the scale and style of its space.
Our role went beyond fitting. We advised on opening sizes, gas supply, and flue requirements from the outset and worked alongside other trades on site so every fireplace sits seamlessly within the overall design.

Our Preston showroom has more than 70 working displays, including media walls, so you can compare flame effects, widths and finishes side by side.
You’ll find us on Garstang Road in Fulwood, about an hour from Prestbury via the M56 and M6.
No appointment needed, but booking ahead means someone’s free to show you round.
Next comes a 45-minute home survey of the room, wall and power supply, followed by a written, no-obligation quote.

Prestbury’s conservation area doesn’t affect a media wall fireplace, because conservation area controls cover a property’s external appearance and a media wall is internal work with no external change. The conservation area covers the village centre and much of the surrounding area, but it doesn’t restrict alterations inside a property.
